And I won’t be eating there again. $30 for an uninspired, relatively bland meal is ludicrous. The food had potential, but it never achieved it.
The creamed oyster and artichoke soup was lukewarm and had a really revolting-looking whole oyster slopping about in it.
The tomato-and-chevre quesadillas, likewise, were not hot, and the filling was unevenly distributed, so that one often got a bite of just tortilla or just cheese.
The guacamole was old and tasted soapy, the salsa was slimy/grainy like old tomatoes, and the lettuce-bed on which the condiments were served was wilted and browning.
Very poor presentation, but it accurately presaged the disappointing food. The sesame flatbread was the best thing brought to the table.
